I don't understand why you just can't use a public park or something?  For playing sports I don't think you need a license or a permit to do so.

As for finding players you could make a flyer and post it around.  I live near a community library and when they are seeking people they will usually post fliers on the library bulletin board.

This is my son Justin who is End Stage Renal Failure(stage 5) and who has a rare severe disease Wegeners Granulomatosis. He will be on dialysis for the rest of his life.. He is 17 and a good kid...

 I have reached out to everyone I can think of to try and make something happen for him to have some happiness in life during all of this.  I have spent hours sending email to his favorite basketball team, football team, recording artist etc... for something as simple as an autographed picture... It has left me speechless.. Our children look up to their "idols" and dream of bieng like them.. My son said mom why do you keep wasting your time.. We are nobodys... They are rich and famous now, they dont do things like that anymore...It killed me... You see all of them talking about how their fans meen so much to them.  I wish one of them would prove my son wrong....Because thats sad for a young man who is dying to feel or see things that way about the people he dreamed of being like... wow...
